This is the clarification of the U.S. Embassy Conversations About Leaking President SBY on Wikileaks

An Australian mass media includes headlines about abuse of power by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
Coverage is based on the leaking of confidential diplomatic wires United States Embassy in Jakarta, which leaked into the site belongs to Julian Asange, WikiLeaks.
Related to this, the Embassy of the United States through a press release to submit an explanation to the incident. Here are the contents of the press release:

U.S. EMBASSY STATEMENT ON DIPLOMATIC alleged WIRE DISTRIBUTION
U.S. State Department did not mengomentai materials, including confidential documents, which may have been leaked. However, as disclosed by U.S. Secretary of State, United States deeply regrets any information leakage which is intended as confidential, including personal conversations between colleagues or assessments and personal observations of our diplomats. Our official foreign policy is not defined by these messages, but in Washington. Our policy is not a secret, as is reflected in our statements and our actions throughout the world.

Disclosure of confidential information against unauthorized by Wikileaks has implications for the lives of individuals mentioned in distress, but also for cooperation between the countries. Because of the high potential impact, we condemn the unauthorized leakage and melakukakn all measures to prevent security breaches in the future.

We can not talk about the authenticity of documents that are spread in the media, but we can talk wire writing practice in the diplomatic community. Basically, field reports to Washington is what it is and usually still raw information. The report was premature, and is generally not complete and that has not been substantiated. The report is not a policy expression, is also not always be the final policy decision. These documents can not be viewed independently or represent U.S. policy.

The issuance of this very irresponsible and we express deep regret to President Yudhoyono and the Indonesian People.
As President Obama never uttered, the United States are very fortunate to have a strong partner like President Yudhoyono, Indonesian president directly elected, and a leader who has led Indonesia on its way to democracy.

Yudhoyono's leadership becomes very important in promoting prosperity, expanding partnership between our communities, and strengthen political cooperation and security.

As President Obama said in Jakarta on a tour to Jakarta in November 2010 to inaugurate a Comprehensive Partnership with President Yudhoyono, Indonesia and the U.S. both have close ties thanks to the historical ties, cultural, economic and reaching out to the Pacific region and thanks to the values and aspirations together where our partnership is of equal and based on mutual interest and mutual respect.
